Wait. Why would you need to make wedding planning fun? Shouldn’t you be super ecstatic about planning The Best Day Ever?
The reality is, most newly engaged people will reach a point where planning a wedding seems daunting. You may feel uninspired, and just not up to it.
And that’s okay!
However, you also need to keep your wedding timeline in mind if you already have a date or an idea of when you want to get married.
Time moves fast, and before you know it, you’re in a time crunch and wedding planning becomes stressful…
To avoid that, here are some ways for you to make wedding planning fun!
1. Have a dedicated space
One thing that will help you to get started (or continue) planning your wedding is to dedicate a space in your home where you can calmly sit and do all the planning.
Make this space yours by decorating it, adding things you like, creating a mood board, and adding lovely stationery.

One thing that may completely discourage you from planning your wedding is if everything is scattered and all over the place.

Having a decent wedding planner book in place will help you to keep track of everything needed for the wedding.

Nothing beats humor in stressful times, so that being said, you can incorporate some chuckle-inducing items to make your wedding planning more fun and exciting.

Falling in by number 3, nothing can be more draining than not having all your wedding planning things together and organized.
Staying organized is a very effective way to make wedding planning fun. Plus it’s super satisfactory to have everything neatly packaged together and being able to carry on where you left off.

So, once it’s time for all the planning to happen, get comfy in your PJ’s, have your favorite drink nearby, and work through your planner.

10. Get in the zone
Finally, it’s time to lean into yourself to make wedding planning more enjoyable.
Meaning, find the best time that suits your wedding planning needs. Maybe you’re a morning person, so get up early and spend half an hour in your planning space.
Or, maybe you’re a night owl, and the best time for planning is when everyone else is asleep.
Whatever is the best time for you, get in the wedding planning zone, make a good cup of coffee or tea, have your favorite pen on hand, and have fun planning your wedding!
